I chose 555nm Blue because I liked 2 Serengetis I've had in the past (unfortunately I lost them while traveling). With the exception of two caveats (see below), the optical quality and photochromic properties of the sunglasses were the same as I remembered, despite the changed lens material (previous experience with glass lenses). Unfortunately 3 things influenced my decision to keep the glasses: 1. The blue mirror lens coating I chose might not be the best choice. Sometimes I could see a blue glow on the front of the lens at certain angles.2. It doesn't look like an anti-reflective coating has been applied to the back of the lens. I could see the top of my face mask reflecting off the back of the lens very clearly, creating a distracting reflection. For those with a low bridge of the nose, you might want to skip these sunglasses. At first glance, the nose pads seem to be adapted to the low bridge of the nose, but the part closest to the face is too high to sit comfortably on the nose. In combination with the spring loops, which don't have that much holding power, the sunglasses constantly slide off your face. For this reason I have decided to return the sunglasses.
