I bought this alarm a month ago and it has already paid for itself. I installed this in a temporarily vacant home in upstate New York. (I live out of town.) Neighbors agreed to keep an eye on the blinking red light. The light bulb flashed last night at 10:30 p.m. A neighbor came to check and found the cooker was not working and the temperature had dropped to 50 degrees compared to the thermostat which was set at 60 degrees. Luckily the neighbor was there and lit the stove again. Today we also had a thermal company to fix a malfunction in the furnace. But if we hadn't had that warning light it could have been a frozen pipe disaster when the neighbor checked the house a day or so later. (It was very cold outside last night.) I am very, very glad that I bought and installed this temperature warning light. worth your money.
