Some of the younger kids at our family gatherings love playing games, but were aggravated with the complexity (and length of gameplay) of Risk, Cataan, etc. This game has elements that immediately engaged them: cool playing pieces, an interesting game board layout, and shorter finish. Add to that the fact that there is enough "luck" involved here to ensure that even the less-strategic thinkers might be successful.Thanks to the other reviewers for pointing out the misprinted game card that doesn't match the board! Weird that it was manufactured with this error, hopefully it is corrected at some point.
