I often cook with olive oil and this was recommended to me. I've found that spraying spreads oil better than pouring. Plastic scratches easily so I went with the blue glass option. It's really pretty (the blue glass makes the olive oil look a darker green) and works well so far. I liked it so much that I bought a second one, the purple one, for balsamic vinegar, which I also make more often now. Someone said they did it in their review. It was a little disappointing. I find that it doesn't seal as well with thinner liquids like vinegar. After spraying, drops of vinegar flow from the junction of the neck with the bottle and then flow down the glass onto the counter. I thought it might just be a blown gasket but my replacement was the same. Other reviewers said they had this problem when using it with oil. I can't use it for its intended purpose and will probably return a second one.
