it holds my sectional together you just need a drill to install

love this because my sectional did not have one and they were always out of alignment this held it together and its a heavy steel not heavy metal it was better than I expected great product just be sure to measure well to connect them

Pros

Easy to install pretty stiff.. well made!

Cons

May add additional bulk to the sofa that is not desired
