I had this in an angle head nozzle and thought I'd try this one as my old one broke after over 10 years, it had a one bad check valve does not hold pressure at all. Leakage at the touch of a button. Well this straight one is a little harder to locate the center point on the tire stem valve and it should be perfectly "straight" on retract (push) and it was at least a good 1+LB (low), it's good to have, maybe in reserve, as an emergency for my use. I now have a 2 inch angle head that reads very well and accurately. and easier to read and use.
