Works Great - Kitchen & Bathroom Faucets

We had installed another, more complex, and much more expensive water filtration system, but replacement filters were long overdue and cost $399! These are tough times so I just stopped drinking tap water because it tasted like chlorine until I bought a Costco Brita jug. Our water is hard, highly processed and doesn't taste the way you want it to taste; To be honest, I don't think it's safe to drink, despite what City says. Anyway, I was glad to get and install this Brita filter because the jug is big, takes up too much counter space and I hate filling it. This is a waste of my life. Compared to the previous filter system we had, the water tastes about the same in my opinion, except the Brita filters 58 sediment and the other filters filter 80+. However, Brita is much more affordable and still removes the worst from the worst, such as: B. Mud, chlorine taste and smell, lead, benzene and mercury. Installation seemed easy. It's an encapsulated design and when it's time for a replacement, all you have to do is pull out the old filter and pop in the new one; no need to turn off the water. Filter life is six months or 2000 gallons. The price is very cheap, especially for families. The cost of bottled water for a family of 4 is much more than the price of this filter. Not to mention how much waste we avoid without buying plastic bottles.

Pros
  • METICULOUS WATER FILTRATION: NSF International certified to reduce the buildup, taste and odor of chlorine, cysts, lead, benzene and mercury.
