I bought two of these carriers for each of my two kittens because I read such great reviews. I spent almost a week just leaving the carrier on so they could get used to it before being taken to the vet. I was so excited about the baby carriers because they were so easy to wear, they are the perfect size and the mat is so soft. closed space and began trying to break the carrier. One of my kitties managed to get outside! This medium was NOT protected from scratches in the slightest. Another kitten ripped off the travel bowl I had filled with food for him and smeared it over the stretcher. The bowl should have a fastener other than Velcro as it is too easy for pets to detach. I ended up having to reschedule my vet appointment because I couldn't get a runaway kitten off the roof after it ripped the net and ran away. . It only took a few hours to get him back. Would recommend a different carrier for your cats.
