These leggings are incredibly soft and very comfortable! They look very well sewn, neat stitching from top to bottom. My 1 year old loves to pull on loose clothing and she is also very energetic so it's time for tighter but comfy pants for running and playing. I have unstable height as I used to gain weight and now I'm in the process of losing weight. With yoga pants or leggings I can be medium to XL because I have a large butt and hips with a much smaller waist. I'm 5'3 and about 170 lbs. currently, but still have an hourglass shape. I chose size S/M because I can usually order a smaller size made of stretch material. I took more of a risk with this size than the other L/XL option because I have other plus size yoga pants and they tend to be very loose around the waist and start to sag as I go about my day and it is annoying to have to pull them up when walking/playing with my pup. Although they are narrower, I definitely like wearing them. The material is surprisingly soft (softer than my more expensive pairs from Target), very stretchy and doesn't show at all! I even asked my son, who was absolutely honest when I tried on the black pair, if he saw the skin or the color of my underwear (and I'm pretty sure I stretch these babes to the limit), and he didn't say at all. Being short I'm used to most pants being too long but as it's a skinny style they just bag a little at my ankles which is fine with me, I'd rather have them a little longer than too short . The ab support is amazing and I'm glad I ordered a size down as I feel they all hold up well. As for the size, it all depends on the preferences and how comfortable you are, how tight they are. They're so comfortable that even though they're very snug, the fabric makes them feel as light as a second skin. I have ordered 2 packs in black and charcoal gray and although I think the gray pair is a bit lighter than it looks in the pictures I will wear them anyway. I was surprised by their quality when I saw that they are made in China but that's good and I will definitely order more from this seller!
