This is my third travel wallet. I did not think I needed one but I got one for free with an LLBean suitcase and I could not believe how useful it was. When it got stolen (a downside to using these things is that everything is one place, which means that someone who is after your money will get everything) I immediately ordered another one, but LLBean had changed the model. It was made of some kind of strange material that snagged, only came in navy and black which disappear in travel stuff that is, for unknown reasons, only sold in navy and black, and worst of all, it had no outside pocket for boarding cards. That seems like a small problem until you try to organize two carry-ons and whatever else is in your hands, and have to either unzip your passport case or search your pockets. It was a big enough problem that after three years I went searching for a new travel wallet. The color attracted me first, then the fact that it has an outside pocket, then the fact that it is RFID, and finally the internal organization that has as generous pocket for change and a see-thru ID/passport pocket. It is perfect except for two things. First the RFID lining is noisy - it crunches and crackles. More significantly, it is a bit too floppy. A more rigid infrastructure would be very useful for when you have to stand in line and fill out forms - my old ones were very good for that. I put a piece of rigid cardboard in the zippered pocket and it works OK but having that in the lining would be better.
