I saw and heard a large brown rat in the heater vent near the kitchen. I immediately cleaned up the spilled bird seed (which I believe got there) as best I could and cleaned the seedling box this thing ran into the vent under. Then every night I sprayed all the downstairs air vents with this product, kept the kitchen sparkling clean, and scrubbed the countertops with a damp cloth and a few teaspoons of pure peppermint oil. The pest repellent showed up a week after I started spraying this repellent. He said he saw rat tracks in my shed and around my porch but they appear to have disappeared. saw at least one ant or spider, nothing. I usually see a spider at least every 2 days. I will continue to use this product with peppermint oil and of course be extra careful with bird seed in the garden. But it worked for me so 5 stars, it did what was advertised and drove my rat away.
