Homemade Beats always buys at the store

I've been making homemade pasta for years and experimenting with creative ways to dry it. Finally I did some research. After reading many descriptions and recommendations, I chose Marcato. The best investment I've made lately. It works as advertised, but there are a few things worth noting. 1. It's made of plastic, not wood, so you don't have to worry about what's left on the sticks2. Easy to clean.3. Dry paste slides off the sticks easily.4. It comes with a stick that is used to transport sliced pasta from the pasta maker to the dryer.5. Don't worry about moving the sticks to position them. Just turn the knob at the top clockwise when you need another stick.6. There is enough space to dry noodles for 8 servings.7. Comes in a box that you use to store between uses. Updated March 21, 2014 Wow. It's hard to believe that I've been using a Marcato pasta drying rack for 4 years. Whether I'm making pasta for my family, an event, or someone who needs food, Marcato is always there. It still works great. Stand, grips, stick look like new. If I would recommend something, make it bigger or offer a larger model. There were many times I could use more space. Especially when I cook more than 8 portions of pasta.
