I think this is a great starting winch for most people and applications. It's not as strong as I was hoping, but overall I'm really impressed with this little car. During our test rides, my Ranger had no trouble pulling my Ranger out of a slightly sloped ditch. Pulling out some large fallen trees seemed to increase it a bit but got the job done anyway. Works damn quiet, although I've heard quieter. I would have liked the remote control to be of a higher quality, but you can't complain about the price. I've only used it a couple of times so can't comment on wear and durability yet, but its main purpose is to save us if we get into trouble and pull out a few logs when needed, so that should do the trick. I wish it had a stop, I hate buying it separately.
