This winch works great. Installed it on our Can-Am Commander and had to use it multiple times. After burying a wheel in a 2 foot deep mud hole, they couldn't get out side by side. The winch worked perfectly to break the choke and pull the 1200 lb commander out of the pit. Also used to pull trees out of the way. Worked perfectly!

Installed on a Polaris 6x6 with a 72" blade, lifts effortlessly and looks great. I connected the dash switch and wireless controller, but found that the wireless receiver sometimes stalls and the winch works. For running a flash would recommend turning this on so it's only on when in use otherwise it will kill your battery and potentially bend anything plugged in after enough of these flashes winch and tether are worth it!

Installed this winch on our houseboat. I liked it until that remote control winch activated (turned off) itself when we were in port for fuel. He did this 3 times, for a second each time, releasing about 2-3 inches of string. Not sure what caused it but after we left the jetty it hasn't happened again. Does anyone know what frequency the remote uses? Maybe it's close to the ocean frequency.

I have fitted this winch to the front of a trailer and it is great. The wireless remote control makes it very easy to drive cars up ramps when towing. So far it has been powerful enough to tow 66 Chevrolets and 68 AMXs with ease. And I mean no problem! it is very compact and looks good. The trailer wiring looks a little confusing, but it's made for an ATV, so that's to be expected. For the price, it couldn't be better for my application. Very satisfied.

This is a great little winch and will do the job I bought it for, getting my '68 Galaxie Fastback in and out of my garage to pull her out. There were two things I didn't like about it, firstly, the schematic requires some work as it's easy to mess up the wiring of the wifi box. Second, there should be more space between the mounting bracket and the winch itself, because when you mount the winch to the bracket, it's physically impossible to get any type of nut/bolt to mount the entire unit.

. This winch was easy to install and was a welcome addition to our Maverick X3. We've used it to push off other riders and it has worked exactly as intended and hasn't let us down yet. Previously I have always refrained from paying attention to where I was riding alone just in case you are alone, you obviously have no one but you to help if the situation arises but it allows me to climb from anywhere if necessary. I am very satisfied and would have liked to have bought earlier.

I've had my eye on this winch for a long time because it advertised more horsepower than any other in its class. I just received my Black Friday purchases. Boy am I disappointed. The specifications in the accompanying manual refer to a 1.3 hp engine, not a 1.9 hp engine. It's actually on par or maybe a little below average for other winches I've looked at. I think this is a great starting winch for most people and applications. It's not as strong as I was hoping, but overall I'm really impressed with this little car.
