Review on Astro 7874 Pulley Puller Installer by Young Rich

I've seen a lot of reviews on this and it's true the instructions are terrible. I put the instructions aside and tried to figure out how it worked myself. I have included 2 photos to show how I set it up and was able to pull out and install the power steering pulley. I was able to remove the pulley twice and install the pulley twice (made a few mistakes when reassembling), the parts still work and hopefully I won't have to do it again but if so then I have my photos. Figure 1 shows the structure. As for the bearing, the plated side is the back (see pic 2 if you're confused). Figure 2 - Removal installation. The conical side of the parts of the puller moves away from the pulley, the sleeve slides to prevent the parts from separating when pulled. Hope this helps other buyers. I would give more stars if the instructions were better or clearer.
