It's not what you would call a 'premium' appliance, but it's pretty damn good. I was very pleased with how easy it is to use and the price was very reasonable compared to its major competitors. It sucks really well and has a dry or wet pack setting, which is great when you're vacuuming meat in liquid brine. It absorbs quickly and is small in size, so it doesn't take up much space when stored. It comes with several nice ready-to-use bags of different sizes. I've used it on fish, venison, salt beef in brine, and a lot of dry stuff. You can use the included attachments to vacuum jars or storage containers. It's good for organizing things in a bag or for long walks. If it only lasts a year, it's still worth every penny.
