Works well and closes quietly
Bought to replace another door closer I bought a few years ago. This works great once you set it up properly. It took me a while to install and play around with the settings, but now it closes properly. At first it made a knocking noise even at the slowest setting of the screw, but I read on another site about moving the bracket closer to the door jamb and that fixed the problem. I no longer hear the door close as it stops a few inches from fully closing and slowly pulls on it the last few inches. I don't know how durable this closer is, but even if it lasts a few years like my old one, I'll be happy with it.
