I have a Tormek and have been frustrated when trying to resharpen damaged edges (instead of just sharpening) or resharpen the edges to form a new angle. The stock bike was TOO SLOW! I spent half a day profiling the new edge. (Not sure how the guy in the company videos can re-sharpen a damaged bit edge in minutes unless the tool is very soft steel?) I decided to try this to speed up the process. And despite the extra minute or two it takes to change wheels, it's a HUGE improvement. Just a few minutes and the tool is ready for sharpening. The additional investment is definitely worth it.
