I wore this to a semi formal event and received many compliments!I am 5'8, DDs, 230 lbs, curvy but also a bit of a gut. There was PLENTY of room for the girls without insane cleavage. My fat arms were beautifully covered. The slit up the middle was not too high, even when sitting, and really helped when walking.I wore with flats and the dress dusted their tops, but not the floor.The material is thick, fairly warm. Lighter colors may be see through. It is slinky so wear a slip or spanx because otherwise panty lines show.The color is very dark. not rusty or plum, but like merlot. I drank red wine (Cabernet) with it and the dress was darker.I tried other colors and styles.Long sleeved version was a few inches shorter so didn't work for me.The blush pink was hella see through.I had to go up a size for the waist to sit where I wanted and for it to be long enough, but that might just be due to my body shape.I loved the feel and definitely would buy more colors! Just watch the length.
