Review on 🔪 JB Prince Straight Tip Tweezer - 10 inch: Precise and Versatile Kitchen Tool by Jennifer Powell

Soft and Responsive

I have Mercer 6" offset tweezers, Rösle 12.2" and now JB Prince 10". Since I cook in the kitchen every day, the quality of my tools is important. All three are of good quality but there are noticeable differences in closing force. To test this I put them all on a gram scale and weighed how many grams of force it would take for the tips to "close" (this is unrelated with the force required to actually hold the tips of the item, as it depends on the weight of the item - and will be significantly more) I squeezed all three from the bottom of the finger grips, Mercer took 2100g to close, Rösle needed 1800 g to close while JB Prince asked for 350g Big difference!Five times as much as the Rösle! You can really feel the difference. This means it's sensitive enough to pick up smaller, lighter objects company. Covering them, like microgreens and flower stems, which you could easily crush with Mercer due to the effort required just to close. It's also wide enough (though not as wide as a Rösle) to roast the thinnest cuts of beef and tough vegetables. This is a great all rounder and I can see why some chefs say this is the only pair of tweezers/tweezers they need! I sometimes see myself using these in place of the rosle, although the rosle's extra length and width is still useful, they almost immediately replaced my mercer frangible cover tweezers even though they're nearly twice the length! They also fit very well in my knife set and sit next to other tools without interfering with the blades of my knives. I really recommend them, especially compared to Mercer tweezers!
