prints fast, works great, poor/wrong instructions. You need a power plant!

Welcome:1. prints pretty fast. Texts are clear and easy to read, unlike some models from other brands3. Driver support is ready to use right out of the box. For reference, I used an Ethernet connection through a router with a driver downloaded from the official website. I started printing and scanning in less than 10 minutes4. compact. This printer is a lot smaller than the HP model I've had before, but it does as much or better5. sufficient packaging/protective material issue:1. The biggest problem is the power consumption of this printer. This printer consumes more than 500 watts when waking up from sleep mode. It took me a few accidental trips on the circuit breaker and brown outlet to finally figure out that this printer was the culprit, as I figured it was the computer, router, or some other electronics that had failed2. This device crashes or freezes from time to time and requires a manual shutdown and reconnection of the power cord to get it working again. I thought these were one-off events, but it happened idle too often. As this device uses little power as stated in #1, it may be best to turn it off when not in use3. choked a few times trying to print from the manual feeder4. very noisy when typing or waking up from sleep5. Instructions are poorly written. This model does not come with wireless connectivity, but the instructions, printer label, brochure, etc. list the Wi-Fi credentials and direct you to set up WIFI with this printer6. The power button allows the backlight to breathe in sleep mode. I can't find a way to turn it off. 7. It might look cheap to some people. A couple of packaging stickers holding all the pieces in place left a sticky adhesive that I couldn't remove

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
