I write very few reviews and only when the product really pushes the limits of perfection or imperfection. The Tengyes electronic digital caliper (I bought the 6 inch) is fantastic. I honestly didn't think I could buy a digital caliper of this quality at this price. The tool is very well constructed and its weight is very comfortable to hold. I use many very precise measurements in art projects, and I need accuracy in these calculations to the thickness of a sheet of origami paper, to hundredths of a millimeter (1 meter, 0.1 meter = centimeters, 0.01 = millimeters, 0.001 = tenths). . millimeters, 0.0001 = hundredths of a millimeter.) and so far all the details have worked! Vernier calipers sometimes respond to a weight shift of the tool for very small measurements by registering a width of about 0.01 (one-millionth of a meter) when neither jaw is measuring anything and the molars are as close together as possible to one another. Personally, I don't mind the 0.01 deflection since it doesn't show up when measuring, especially when I _always_ use a stop screw, which is the "real professional way" of a caliper.
