I bought this set mainly for the applicator which I thought would be useful in my model making hobby. And so it is! It's easy to use and perfect for small jobs that your clumsy fingers can't handle. This allowed me to embellish some models with colorful gems. But what really surprised me was how PACKAGED this set was at such a great price. As well as the applicator there is a whole range of different sized tips to help you apply stones of different sizes, great tweezers which came in handy straight away when building my model, a wire brush which I also have for immediate use have used. Purpose, and many other little things, as well as almost 5500 bricks of a variety of colors! It's an all-in-one package, that's for sure. Remember that the applicator will ONLY work with stones that have pre-cured glue on the bottom, so it will not work with anything. The heating element also gets hot, so use caution and keep it away from flammable objects. This is not very good for children. Unattended you ask for tears. Otherwise this is a good set.
