Before that, I bought steering wheel covers from this brand twice for different cars. Both times it worked great and looked very good. One of them turned out so well that the passenger asked me if it was a "factory steering wheel". The leather is very soft and cuddly, wears quite well and feels comfortable. Based on the size chart, I ordered a "medium standard size" case. I installed this on a 2002 Dodge Dakota with an anthracite gray (slate) interior, so I went with the gray color. The gray color turned out to be a little lighter than my steering wheel. In hindsight, I probably would have gone for a black handlebar pad as the color would have gone better with it. The big problem was the size of the cover. Without evenly stretching, it covered the thickness of the steering wheel rim. I didn't think it would work so I ordered a "medium (-)" size. Although both caps matched the wheel diameter, this time the cap was about 1/2 inch thinner than the rim thickness. I tried stitching it based on my experience that the leather will stretch to cover the edge (if the stitching is very tight). That just shouldn't have happened. I saw the threaded holes start to crack and there was still a 1/4 inch gap. So in the end I took the case that was too big and sewed it up. It "worked" but the seam area is thick and bulky and looks like moccasins. Not the look I was aiming for, but at least I find it easier to rest my hands on when the sun is beating down on the steering wheel.
