Fit: I take a size 7 7/8 or 8 hat which is sometimes a problem with one size hats but this hat fits me. This is a fairly low hat with a stiff front that may not appeal to those who prefer the flat type. I love how securely this hat sits on my head. Velcro: Velcro 2 x 3" in front, 1 x 1.5" each side, 1 x 1 on top, 1 x 3.5 in back, plus Velcro on back of adjustment strap. If you like lots of patches, this hat is for you. I cut off the side and back Velcro (they are sewn on). The adjustment strap uses Velcro. There are no buttons on the top of the cap. 100% cotton made in Bangladesh. wooded areas. I wish they had some kind of desert pattern (not ACU). The supplier AracciUS ships very quickly.
