I bought this to pump out the remaining gas from my lawn mower and snow blower after only running my hand pump for a season. The design couldn't be simpler, so things can go wrong. Unfortunately, this famous turkey paste turned out to be completely useless. After the liquid is sucked into the flask, it cannot hold the liquid in the flask, so all the liquid will flow out through the end. This was probably due to a very poor seal at the junction of the black base and the red bulb. As the liquid began to fill the piston, it also began to flow out at the junction of the two sections. If liquid can come out, it means that air can get in. This is probably why mine couldn't hold the liquid against gravity after it was sucked in. will come out where the two sections come together and make a big mess. The nail in the coffin was hammered in when the two pieces were regularly separated. All in all, this is a very poorly made product that doesn't even come close to doing what it was designed to do. Save yourself money and frustration and buy something else.
