I like the clean, all-metal look. The base mount will not leak when fully installed on the can. The thread is screwed completely onto the top of the can. When removing from a can, the can is closed again; no refrigerant leakage. The pretty blue open and close button shines seductively. I don't like the confusing reverse turning of the valve to open and close. When fully installed with the valve in the fully closed position, a small amount of refrigerant will leak from the flare fitting at the top; Be sure to use a short ball valve to contain the leak.
