We had a new shower installed in a space that used to have a 40"x60" jacuzzi tub. The space had a 30"x40" window that was covered with window blinds before the tub was taken out. We needed a film that would let in light and give us privacy in the new shower while being able to get wet daily.The installation went very smoothly. I would suggest measuring the window to get the correct size of film roll. Definitely get more than you need. Especially if this is the first time installing this type of thing. I bought enough to cover the window 2 or 3 times. Just in case.This tools I used were scissors to pre-cut the film with a couple of inches of overlap on at least two sides, some plastic drywall mud knives, and a box cutter.After thoroughly cleaning the window with window cleaner, I sprayed the whole window heavily with a mixture of water and a few drops of liquid dish soap. I peeled off the backing and placed the film easily. The drywall tools removed the air bubbles and helped guide the cutter as I cut off the excess on two sides. I was finished in less than 15 minutes.
