We bought a Summer Extra Wide Decor security gate to keep the little ones out of the living room. The gate latch is easy to operate with one hand but is heavy enough to hold a child. Mounting pads for adjustable legs are included but we chose not to use them as there are 2x4 legs behind the drywall. We bought the first one on April 15th and liked it so much we ordered a second one on May 10th to cordon off the hallway. Not a day goes by that a kid doesn't step on the bottom bar and jump up and down and pull and push the gate to get through, but they don't move at all.
