Good product but no installation instructions.
This is a consumer product and assumes the buyer is technically savvy. I didn't and there was no indication of the installation. I couldn't connect and if I hadn't found a reference on a site on the internet I probably would have sent it back. Now that I know the solution, and at the risk of sounding stupid, I want to share it and save someone else the embarrassment. The clue was to remove a small piece of rubber from the joint. I saw grommets on each end of the cable, but I honestly thought they were permanently attached. Once properly installed, the product is excellent.
