So cool I'll buy another one

After I upgraded my small home theater/VR PC with the most powerful graphics card and processor I could fit, things started to heat up! I added a few extra fans and vents to the PC case which helped when it was outside but still got hotter than fireworks in my entertainment center. I came up with what seemed to me a unique idea - to place several fans in the back of the cabinet. While looking for something to use as a thermostatic fan controller, I came across console coolers. It was exactly what I had planned myself. When I ordered it I also bought 3 Noctua fans as I assumed the ones supplied would be of low quality to maximize profit. Installation and setup was a breeze. I never replaced the stock fans because the included fans work great. At the first two speed levels, nothing can be heard in my living room. The highest setting is loud, but never had to go past 2nd gear to keep the temp in the 70s. If I didn't have a computer that required air to be as cold as possible, I know I could keep it at its lowest, quietest speed all the time and the temperature would stay below 90F. Speaking of fan speed, I have to mention that it has a very user-friendly control panel. You can set the speed manually, or you can set the tempo to stay slower and it will adjust its speed as needed. I love this item so much I am about to purchase a second one for the other side of my entertainment center. Where are my Blu-ray player and cable box? This thing gets an A from me. The only thing I would ask the manufacturer is to make models with even larger fans. 120mm fans work great, but 140mm or even 200mm fans can move more air at a lower noise level. I'm sure they are aware of this and I'm sure they make the sizes they make because they want all of their products to fit in standard 1U, 2U, 3U rack units etc .

Pros
  • good
Cons
  • Can I add something
