This is a budget version of a popular beauty product for which there are some very expensive branded versions with lots of bells and whistles and others like this that use cheaper assembly versions and technologies to make these types of products for to make the home user more accessible. He did a great job with my curly hair. The low setting was very loud, the medium setting was very faint, and the high setting sounded the same as the low setting. The cord was a good length and I didn't feel I needed more cord as I wrapped it around my head. I love how it comes with so many different attachments.
