The stars were awarded for the high quality and attractiveness of the bottle. However, the ALL point of this bottle is to keep track of the water you drink. But there is no water to be seen. Without a transparent band to track where you are, the markers are useless. Great if you just want something big to keep you hydrated, but not great if you're looking to increase your hourly water intake.
