Helpful Hints: Power Window Motors

Motor runs. GM not only has a major installation problem, but also a design problem. The mounting bracket that comes with the motor does not have threaded mounting holes, making it unusable. Comes with two sizes of screws to mount the motor to the bracket. 4 of these are too big for the holes and the other 4 go through the bracket holes. You need to add washers for the small screws to work. I also added some lock washers with flat washers. It happens that there is a bucket full of different washers. Much luck.
