Nice monitor but don't buy it if you use DisplayPort

This monitor is just annoying. Probably the best value for a 27" 1440p monitor not in use, in open box or without decoration. Made by a really good company. Check out the specs for yourself. But don't buy this monitor if you have the desire or plans for the future to use it. Display Port to control it. Yes, I read the reviews before ordering. Yes, I realized that these guys are doing something wrong. Yes, I took the risk because I would never need a DP connector. I was wrong on all fronts. On a mobile device MSI B450, R3600, 32 G RAM, M.2, SSD, a computer with a large rotating disk currently equipped with a GTX1660.Modern equipment.THE MONITOR WILL DO NOT wake up from sleep with DP. WILL NOT. what HDMI required. My GPU only has 1 HDMI. So I have to go to DP to open another one for VR. No I want through my coffee cup through the monitor I had with Acer and I hated connecting them to my pc remotely and "updating nvidia drivers" they really made me feel like an idiot at acer tech that something was wrong with my pc. 2 other smaller monitors with DP were tested without osh Ibok. The screen will still be locked with an orange power indicator showing sleep mode. The buttons on the monitor don't wake him up. You literally have to pull the power cord and wait a full 10 seconds for the capacitors to discharge. If you don't wait, it will turn itself back into sleep and frozen mode. I've probably already passed the return date. I dropped the box a few weeks ago and thought I was happy with the HDMI solution until VR fell into my lap. I will try Acer one last time. But that scolding check had to be done. Sorry Acer, I really understand you, but this is POS. Please I will try

Pros
  • Good screen and good price. Received on time
Cons
  • Completely broke within a few days. Second Acer monitor I've bought in a year to do this.
