Bananas don't turn into porridge in summer!
Although I was skeptical, I'm happy with the results. I keep bananas in a bag and keep them in the fridge, and while the peel does discolor, the insides of the bananas stay firm much longer than they do on my counter in the summer with no air conditioning. It also gets rid of the banana smell in the fridge which made everything around it look like a banana. Hooray.
