Review on Enhanced Connectivity: GearIT Ethernet Cable Snagless Patch for Industrial Electrical Usage by Jacob Seymour

Revainrating 5 out of 5

First impression, excellent cables

So I was in ambush and went through the connection cables. I did the same with these. from the curves looks correct. If you look at the end of the RJ45 connector, it looks like it's real stranded copper wire. Snapshot of the RJ45 end. terrible shots. So stick to the main images. Let's cut the end off one and pull it back. We have a center divider. Check. We have a good twist rate, around 5mm/spin. Check it well with my calibrated 24 AWG stranded wire stripper and yes it matches what was seen at the end of RJ45 stranded copper conductors. Check.Gear It uses a Category 5 RJ45 configuration (24AWG wire only), but remember that the pinout of the new Category "cat6" connectors allows for 23AWG wire, which is optional in Category 6, but is not required. IMHO, real Cat6 patch cords. The sealing at the ends looks good on all 26 of my cables. I haven't tested all of them for continuity and correct wiring. but will do with each before they are put into use.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember
