I needed a power supply under my RV dash to simplify the spaghetti of crimp connections I had when upgrading my stereo. The previous owner did everything else well (didn't have to fiddle around) but I wanted good chunky wires and solid connections for my stereo and amp. These blocks did their job well. I used silicone grease on the threads and surfaces to prevent galling and corrosion. So far, so good. What I didn't like was that there was no cover for the plus block, as well as a 15 amp fuse that gave its life to the cause. After that I left the main hot wire exposed until everything else was connected. I ended up using a piece of notched and notched vinyl tubing and slipped it over the red block as the main insulation.
