Cool. A countersunk hex screw to attach to the battery terminal is a pain. If they made it easier to attach to the battery post it would be perfect. Should probably give 5 stars for how much better this is than replacing battery terminals, but I really hate how difficult it is to use a socket head cap screw. ****UPDATED 9/2017**** Well this is one of those things that when brand new looks amazing. Then a few years go by and you use it. and you know it sucks ESPECIALLY when your battery dies when you're not at home. 1) Hexagon screw for attaching to the battery - after about a year it can no longer be prized out. Hex head screws are not very good for applying force. Especially the so beautifully hidden Allen screws. I'm trying to remove the battery at home with a full set of tools. Seems like destroying it is my only option. I'm going to try lots of lube, but the screw wants to loosen because it's stuck. And to get a good angle I had to remove the air filter. 2) The shape of the terminal does not provide space to connect connection cables or a charger. . No cable stretches far enough to fit through the terminal. The protruding screws are not bulky enough to attach the cable clamps. With a little effort, it can be grabbed around the corner with well-toothed cable clamps. 3) The digital battery gauge failed after only a few months of ownership. Removal of the coolest feature.
