Review on Renewed Samsung Galaxy Note 9 in AT&T Cloud Silver, 128GB Storage by Kung Chai ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The quality is worse than I have ever seen, a complete disappointment

I bought my device (512GB version on Exynos cpu) in December while on a business trip in Hanoi (Vietnam). Before that, I used OnePlus 5 with pleasure and expected similar quality from Samsung, if not better. But after three months of use, he became firmly convinced that the acquisition was a mistake. It is not possible to set the dark screen design in the settings. All visual interface settings are only in Samsung themes, and there is sheer glamor and even advertising. A $1,500 device billed as a business model offers lollipop icons, pink bows, and shows ads to the customer! Screen is attached. bixby button. It is impossible to reconfigure to something useful. As a result, I solved the problem radically - put on a cover and cut off the protruding silicone button on the cover. Samsung employees, I know you will read my review, I saw your comments under other reviews, and therefore I want to ask you a question: your company burdens me with interaction with your AI developments. Obviously, you are using user expirence to train your bixby, which means that phone buyers are starting to work for you. Without knowledge, consent and opportunity to refuse. How would you comment on this? Android 9 - the interface has become round, but only where they managed to do it. Aligning elements on a grid? What for? As if the company was using the work of an aspiring interior designer for the visually impaired. Screen is attached. Double screen. After ating to Android 9 it disappeared. Taking into account the fact that I bought a device for working with a stylus in dual screen mode, my patience ended there. Total: for three months I suffered with this device, but I don’t want to see any more Samsungs in my life. And I advise others to be careful. I am attaching screenshots from Android 8 and 9 and a photo of Note9 along with OnePlus5, which lacks only a stylus to become a perfect phone. Alas, the Samsung lacks everything else.

Pros
  • Good camera! Stylus, memory capacity (but I paid for it)
Cons
  • 1. Software with bugs. Curve, in the literal sense, design. 2. A lot of pre-installed software. Plus, once the microsoft office was installed on its own. I didn't ask, I don't need to. 3. Late ate to Android 9 (and it better not be) 4. Missing SplitScreen after Android 9 ate 5. Non-customizable Bixby button
