Review on 📏 Starrett 380 36" Steel Straight Edge - 36 Inch by Ray Sheptock

This is supposed to be a "precision" gauge. However, Starrett wraps it like bubble gum. I had to return the first one I received as it fell off at some point and one corner was creased. This is most likely due to the Starrett packaging. The Model 380-36 was packaged like a pack of chewing gum with an inner paper sleeve and a similarly shaped cardboard box on the outside. No pads, no foam, nothing. There isn't even a "handle with care" label on the outside. If they don't treat their product better than a pack of gum, I can't rate it any higher. By the way, my C33H-12-4R arrived in a plastic case. bag in the free box.
