My faucet started dripping after 5 years of use. I tried to fix the problem but it was basically impossible to align the old cartridge in the allocated one to stop the leak. I've searched the web for information on replacing the inline switch but could not find this part even using the part number. I ended up getting a new set again and paying $176 plus shipping. I'm no expert but I think 5 year minimum usage (as this is my 3rd bathroom is not as good as expected from a premium brand like Hans Grohe. As other customers have mentioned the shower handles wiggle and temperature control becomes difficult and demanding painstaking work to find the middle ground between mixing the water in a way you are comfortable with.
