This docking station was easy to set up and get started. This version was used to replace my Kensington SD5200T which I have used with my 2016 MacBook Pro for several years. I recently bought an Apple MacBook Pro with an M1 chip and the SD5200T does not work with this chip. So I did some digging and found this. I stayed with the Kensington brand mainly because I was familiar with their products and had a lot of success. Connecting this dock was easy as it just replaced my old one on my desk. The only difference was that I had to install the DisplayLink software. After installing the software, my two HP Pavilion 32-inch QHD monitors turned on and the picture was perfect. I don't play on this machine so I can't comment on the responsiveness and refresh rate of the M1 chip and my HP. supervised.
