Works great, decent range with included magnetic antenna

Works great on the Autobahn. No problem. Radio is clean. I don't like putting a 9 AA battery in it because nobody sells 9 MIMH in a pack, you have to get another pack and leave 3, but other than that it's a great radio. I get about a mile and a half of confidence in the antenna judging where the talk zones are coming from, so it's not even bad. Of course, you can use longer antennas or another brand, but the one that comes with it will work. Weather bands also work here in Kentucky. Keep in mind that this is no different than a regular desktop CB, the only difference is that it can be wireless. You can buy an adapter and connect the same CB to your home CB antenna if you want and it will work just as well as a regular CB as all CBs are FCC regulated up to 4W.
