No drivers required for Windows 10

I received a Rocketek DOD Military USB CAC smart card reader yesterday. I already have the DOD PKI and ActiveClient 7.0 package installed on my Windows 10 laptop, but I was curious if this reader would work without installing custom drivers. I plugged it in, ActiveClient recognized it immediately and read my DOD smart card on the first try! Very impressive. The instructions are more confusing than helpful as they suggest you go to their website to download drivers but there is no driver reader for that. All in all very recommendable.
