I bought this lock for a 2007 Mazda B4000. The lock works as advertised. My troubles started with instructions. While the instructions state that the lock is for Mazda B-Series 94 and up, the instructions themselves make no mention of Mazda when it comes to determining the color of the vehicle's existing wires that the tailgate lock connects to. The assumption that the chassis will be identical to the Ford Ranger is also unfounded, since the colors mentioned (pink with orange and pink with black) are wrong. I was able to find the correct information on the Ford Ranger discussion forum. Before joining the Ford Ranger forums, I tried calling Pop & Lock technical support several times. My calls always resulted in an "I'm not at work" message and when I left a message for a call back I didn't receive it.
