jobs. I didn't want to pay a crazy price for Toyota Genuine Brake Lubricant so I read a lot of online forums to find a suitable replacement. It's one of the few replacement devices available that seems to be getting good reviews across the board. I use it to lubricate caliper pins, brake pads, etc. It seems to handle the heat of the brake pads/discs/calipers. Manufacturers would rather spend a fortune on their proprietary lubricants, but that works just as well. Do not use the small tube of grease that comes with the pads on the caliper pins. It won't stand up to extreme heat and will stick together and eventually freeze your caliper to keep it from sliding over the pins. You end up overheating the brakes, wearing out the pads and deforming the rotor (like I did). Use this product or the manufacturer's OEM product.
