Excellent spring loaded razor blades. I have never used straight lines before and started with these bases on my DX. The first few weeks I had cuts, bumps, tears etc. I changed blades after 2 shaves and went down and then up. I've been shaving with these blades 3+ times for about 1 month now and doing 6 or 7 passes every few days. With them you don't have to shave every day. They provide the cleanest, best shave of my life, my hair is coarse and my neck, jaw, cheeks, chin and mouth are as smooth as a baby's without a hint of stubble. Wonderful! They are very aggressive, you shouldn't push them, and you MUST move slowly. I've cut myself a few times and bought scar cream to treat these sores, mostly on the cheekbones. I highly recommend these blades, but also recommend patience and caution. Don't step out with an open razor, make sure the ground underneath is dry, and do your best to avoid distractions. You'll also need an aluminum bar to improve your finger grip when you pull the leather at different angles.
