It's true that you can feel a lot of bass in some genres of music, but you can get used to it. Extra bass in her name! There's also a free EQ 10 app that lets you customize the sound (in iTunes) to your liking. I removed some bass, added some mids and highs, and now the sound sparkles! Many people complain that the control buttons fall off, but after a month of use, this has not happened. They're quite large and you may need to reconfigure them from time to time to keep them inside (one star for that). Experiment with different ear tip sizes to find the one that works best. Bass response is directly related to the earphones sitting properly in the ear. Costs money!
