The front is not in light pastel but more like a faded rainbow. It's also a lot smaller than it appears on the listing. If you turn it on with your phone's flashlight for 3 minutes (as suggested), it barely lights up. Direct lighting of white stones for at least 5 minutes gives the best results, but the effects do not last long. Finally, the length of the black cable is not adjustable. However, this is a unique looking pendant and I like both sides of the mandala (stones) and the bright shiny side on the back. Wearing makes you happy. :) Definitely worth it for the price (about $23).
